Preview - Lauren & Austin Engagement in Nashville

Yay for fabulous vintage hair and clothing! I had an amazing time yesterday at the engagement session of Lauren & Austin. We walked around downtown Chicago and went to a little carnival in Franklin. The Ferris wheel was so much fun! This is a preview of the shoot with many more great photographs to come. Congratulations you two! I wish you both the best of luck.

that the world made visible through
the macro lens is much too lush, too detailed
to be crushed within the cramped dimensions
of everyday.

The vision consumes her attention. She adjusts
the focus and the frame. Her very being prepares
for the climactic moment, when she will cause
this abundant, exotic flow of information to freeze,
fixed in immobility. Time has not been set on pause,
it streams around the image,
motionless now, and unreal,

Erin Preview

Preview of Erin Jone's photo shoot. I was so happy that we had perfect weather - I could have done with less bugs though, but it turned out fantastic in the end. We started off at Burgess Falls and moved to the depot in Cookeville, TN.

Kat & Reagan - Preview

I had the pleasure of shooting Kathryn Kniep and Reagan Austin's engagement pictures today and am super excited about they're wedding coming up later this year! Not only do they make a gorgeous couple, but they are also hilarious together. I have never laughed so hard during a shoot before. The chemistry between this couple is phenomenal and I wish them the best of luck. Thank you guys for making today so much fun!

Avery - Preview

Today was one of those days where everything went perfectly! This is a sneak preview of Chris and Lori Wakefield's daughter, Avery. She was so easy to work with and photographed beautifully! I had the hardest time going through and picking out which photos to use for the preview (they were so many fantastic ones!) Here is a couple I did finally decide on.

I am also very excited to announce that I will be running a 'Children Artistic Session' promotion in 1-2 weeks. I will be offering wardrobe advice and will have a line up of urban and country locations for shoots. If you are interested in signing your child up - please let me know as soon as possible because I am only going to unleash a limited number of session spots.

Kelley - Preview

Hello all,

This is the second time I have got to shoot with the beautiful Kelley Ramey and it was another success! Kelley has fantastic bone structure - maybe from her Native American heritage and I always love working with her. All these shots are from a run-down corner of Cookeville, Tennessee that I pass every day when I am around Tennessee Technological University. All the old rusty barrels and debris are my idea of a perfect for a background! Let me know what you guys think :)
